What to Expect From A Reading 

Whether it is your first reading or your twentieth, I always suggest to please keep an open mind. 

Oftentimes the person (sitter) having the reading will have a particular person in mind that they are hoping to hear from — and usually, this loved one does come through. 

However, the average person typically has several or even many loved ones on the other side. 

As an example, your great Aunt Katherine on your mother's side might be the first person to come through. This might seem random because your mother didn't share much about her. However, there is always a reason for a Spirit to come through. Great Aunt Katherine stepped in to give you a message that totally makes sense. In fact, the message offers you an answer to something you were wondering about. You may not know much about Aunt K, but she has a great interest in you! 

My second suggestion during a reading is to sit in a state of trust. Trust that your reading will unfold exactly as it is supposed to. 

Typically more than one Spirit will come through during a reading. Some may pop in to just say hello and be remembered. Of course, others come through with lots to say. They come to give advice, guide us, thank us, share fond memories or perhaps offer an apology. 

Your loved ones also like to let you know they are aware of what you have been up to — from the elaborate to the mundane. Such as you just went shoe shopping, or you finally booked your dream cruise. They want you to know they are around and with you.

During a reading you may also experience emotion. When someone we love comes through, tears may flow — this is totally understandable. As the medium, I too am often moved by the emotions your loved ones in Spirit are sharing. You may hear me say “my heart chakra is pulsing or I can really feel a lot of emotion in my heart chakra.” 

Keep an open mind, and Trust! Your loved ones in Spirit are eager to make contact with you.
